Teaching Philosophy
We believe that all children have a natural intrinsic curiosity, and our goal is to nurture that curiosity and encourage children to explore the world to find answers to their own questions. We follow a constructivist approach, meaning we guide students to draw their own conclusions based on their experiences. In many ways, our classrooms resemble those of Montessori schools. Students are able to work at their own pace with teachers introducing new skills and activities when students are ready. Additionally, students are encouraged to pursue their own interests. Teachers do everything they can to personalize their curriculum to individual students needs and interests.
Child-Centered Learning
Children have a natural desire to learn as much as possible, and we aim to grow that desire into a lifelong love of learning. To do so, our classrooms have a significant amount of student choice in both the activities they do and the topics they learn about. Teachers do everything they can to personalize their instruction to students’ individual needs and interests.
Pricing
Pricing varies across classrooms because different age groups have different needs. All students pay a $60 registration fee at the time of enrollment. The pricing for the different classrooms is as follows.
